Fly a Spitfire
The closest experience you will ever have to flying a real Spitfire. In our simulator, you operate authentic controls to take off, fly and land a Mk XVI Spitfire from a full-sized replica cockpit.
One of our qualified instructors will be close by to provide guidance throughout to ensure a full and sensational experience.

Experience the thrill and excitement of piloting the life-sized replica Spitfire cockpit. Guided by one of our specialist ground crew you’ll be taking off down the runway and patrolling the skies of wartime Europe. As well as the thrill of flying this magnificent machine, you will have the opportunity of intercepting other aircraft and operating the on-board machine guns in no time!
This is a 25-minute experience that includes a briefing on piloting a Spitfire and how this simulator replicates this. Within minutes you will be performing as if you have had extensive training!
Terms and conditions:
Due to the real-life integrity of the cockpit, you must be over 15 years of age and 150cm or taller to operate the simulator. Please note a degree of flexibility is required to climb into the cockpit.
To operate this simulator you must be under the supervision of a Warbirds staff member at all times and follow the instructions provided.
Tickets for the simulator can be purchased upon entry or online prior to your visit.
